Transform Fest – Spring 2018

May 09 2018 — May 20 2018
Transform, YBCA’s new festival, celebrates the power of ideas through transformative performances. Each fall and spring, we will convene leading contemporary artists for a provocative showcase of dance, music, and theater that can only happen at YBCA.
May 9–20, 2018
What is Transform? »

This spring, our festival is built around the question: “Where is our public imagination?” An international spectrum of performance from eclectic and progressive musical presentations (Black Women Rock!, DJ Spooky, Mark de Clive-Lowe), visually stunning dance (Capacitor, Printz Dance Project), and innovative, interdisciplinary theater driven works (Roger Guenveur Smith with Campo Santo, Okwui Okpokwasili, Lars Jan/Early Morning Opera).
