For The Leslie and Merle Rabine 2016-2017 Performance Season, YBCA is spotlighting artists whose work responds to or complicates the following three questions: “Can we design FREEDOM?”, “What does EQUITY look like?”, and “Why CITIZENSHIP?” These lines of inquiry form a framework that culminates in a season of music, dance, performance art, and performances that stimulate the senses and provoke thoughtful reflection on the human condition.
