"Home season after home season, LINES Ballet consistently serves up stunningly soul-laid bare dancing."
—San Francisco Chronicle
This spring the company returns home after critically acclaimed appearances in Monaco, Italy and France, bringing Bay Area audiences a unique local collaboration. Alonzo King's celebrated contemporary ballet company presents a world premiere work together with the San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows. Under the guidance of San Francisco Opera General Director David Gockley and Opera Center Director Sheri Greenawald, the Adler Fellowship Program is recognized as one of the most prestigious for vocal training in the country. The performance is rounded off by the hypnotic "Rasa", created with tabla master Zakir Hussain in 2007.
