San Francisco ChronicleJoin us for an evening of merriment and mischief on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Artists Ball Seven. Known for its amazing décor, exquisite costumes and headliner entertainment, this year's Artists Ball theme, The New Party, is inspired by the upcoming elections. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite politician or—if you're really creative—political issue. Artists Ball Seven features hip-hop superstar Mos Def, and music by Hercules and Love Affair—Live Set, Rogue Wave and other surprise guests. The dance party begins at 9 pm at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission Street at 3rd. Admission, which includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks, is $150 per person ($125 YBCA Members). All proceeds to benefit YBCA's New Works Fund.
