The Art and Technology Network has four open calls for California-based artists for the 2010 01SJ Biennial, which takes place Sep 16–19 in San Jose. The Biennial is themed Build Your Own World, which is predicated on the notion that artists, designers, engineers, architects and citizens have the tools to (re)build the world, conceptually and actually, in both large and small ways. The open calls are an opportunity to submit exemplary work, which not only imagines the future (world) but also builds it.
