The Big Ideas: Bridging the Gap
One of the most significant ideas of interest to artists in the changing environment is that of cultural distance and questions of how to close gaps of understanding and misunderstandings between people, cultures and countries. Is this really as hopeless as it appears? Several artists in our 09_10 season have taken up this challenge and are sharing with us the results of their explorations and investigations.
